Aufgrund seiner chemischen Beschaffenheit ist es in der Lage, hohe mechanische Eigenschaften, hohe Z\u00e4higkeit, hohe Chemikalien- und Hydrolysebest\u00e4ndigkeit und hohe thermische Best\u00e4ndigkeit mit der F\u00e4higkeit, hohe Betriebstemperaturen zu gew\u00e4hrleisten, sowie eine ausgezeichnete Haftung an Verst\u00e4rkungsfasern zu garantieren. Vinylester wird in der Schifffahrtsindustrie h\u00e4ufig als Osmosesperre oder beim Bau von Hochleistungsr\u00fcmpfen verwendet.
