Fibers / Roving
The
yarn or carbon roving consists in a spool composed of carbon yarns. It
is mainly used in production processes such as filament winding,
pultrusion and the production of preforms for RTM and injections, as
well as in fields such as sport and free time, for the realization of
propellers, rods, and arms. The fibers composing the roving, are easily
impregnable with epoxy or polyesters resins so they guarantee an
excellent structural rigidity of the manufactured good and at the
same time a considerable weight reduction, so as to obtain an excellent
final result. The finished product, reinforced by fiber rovings allow
the achievement of high performance. The roving fibers to be used are
different depending on the specific processing and they vary according
to the type of fiber that composes the roll.
