These are products and applications where the aesthetic value is often negligible compared to that of structural behaviour, i.e. the response to precise values of certain mechanical parameters, where the technical-technological framework (testing, standards and certification) is more important than the aesthetic-visual one.<\/p>\n<p>These reinforcements are usually used in combination with thermosetting resins (matrix) to produce high-strength composites that combine the strengths and overcome the weaknesses of the two (or more) components.
