In the field of composite materials, epoxy resin systems are widely regarded as superior to all other systems in terms of both mechanical strength and the degree of surface finish they provide. Since epoxy resins do not contain any solvents, they are not very aggressive towards the materials to which they are applied. Also worth mentioning is their very high adhesive strength, mechanical resistance and resistance to the hydrolysis reaction, capable of protecting a hull from the normal osmosis process. Thanks to this innovative product family, a new production process commonly referred to as RFI &#8211; resin film infusion &#8211; has been gaining ground for a few years now; during handling,
