This item is essentially extruded into profiles, having a trapezoidal shape or contoured section, and is designed to strengthen and stiffen molded products and composite fabrications. Insensitive to atmospheric agents and chlorine salts, excellent thermal insulation, has low water absorption and significantly reduces the transmission of water vapour. These and other characteristics make it particularly useful in maritime industry applications, for the production of central structures in hulls.
