Elle se distingue par le co\u00fbt r\u00e9duit de l&rsquo;ensemble du processus de production et la reproductibilit\u00e9 garantie de la pi\u00e8ce fabriqu\u00e9e. Ce processus implique principalement le transport par rouleaux des fibres de renforcement \u00e0 travers plusieurs \u00e9tapes de traitement jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;obtention du produit fini. Les fibres (de verre ou de carbone) passent par une cuve d&rsquo;impr\u00e9gnation et de pressage o\u00f9 elles sont impr\u00e9gn\u00e9es de r\u00e9sines thermodurcissables. Le processus consiste ensuite \u00e0 canaliser le mat\u00e9riau dans un moule en acier, qui sera plac\u00e9 dans un four o\u00f9 les diff\u00e9rentes temp\u00e9ratures auxquelles il sera soumis feront r\u00e9agir la r\u00e9sine. \u00c0 la sortie du four, la r\u00e9sine est durcie et le profil\u00e9 est alors pr\u00eat \u00e0 \u00eatre d\u00e9coup\u00e9 et fini avec pr\u00e9cision. L&rsquo;impr\u00e9gnation peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9e directement \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de la matrice, ce qui garantit un indice de r\u00e9sistance du mat\u00e9riau plus
