Vacuum technology
The process of vacuuming the part is the next step after hand lay-up. This processing method requires the use of bags, films or membranes connected to a vacuum pump that creates a vacuum to compact the layers below. The result obtained is better than that achieved with the hand lay-up technique and guarantees the production of products with high mechanical performance, high tensile strength and excellent aesthetics. This process, although more complex, provides advantages over traditional methods. The vacuum created, in addition to compacting the laminate, removes the moisture contained in the material and excess resin, ensuring better performance of the finished product. The result obtained as a result of this type of processing is superior rigidity, maximising the efficiency of the component.
