Aramid fiber
Aramid fibres, to which Kevlar® belongs, are a special group of synthetic fibres that are particularly strong and extremely resistant to heat and friction due to their chemical properties. They are widely used in the production of advanced composites in single-reinforced structures or in combination with others, such as carbon fibre. Aramid fibres are endowed with unique characteristics such as heat/flame resistance, puncture resistance as well as abrasion resistance, but they are also used to contain bursting in the event of impact.

- Heat/flame resistance
- Breakage containment
- Thermal insulation
- Anti-perforation
- Abrasion resistance
