Vacuometers
The
vacuometer (or vacuum measurer) is a pressure measuring tool for fluids
with pressures lower than atmospheric one; for values higher than the
latter, the instrument used is manometer. The vacuometer measures the
negative differential pressure between a vacuum circuit and the outside
environment. These tools work based on the principle of the Bourdon
spring functioning. As the depression in the interior grows, a spring
tends to deform from its original position; this movement of springs
free extremity determines the depression-pression measure. In hi-tech
processings, it is essential to keep some parameters under strict
control; indeed, this instrument is indispensable to control the level
of depression within the circuit, consisting in a vacuum bag and line.
